About the event
This two day course will cover and develop the basics involved in livestock farming, intended to be the next step up from the information gained at college or apprenticeship. The course is intended for small groups to encourage discussion so that we can learn from each other. Half of the training will be on farm so make sure you have clean wellies!!

Handling animals to minimise stress.
Housing livestock.
Medicine use and administration.
Managing pregnant animals.
